Rich Homie Quan came through for his first VladTV interview in some years, and he started off speaking to Shawn Prez about VladTV being his first big interview at the start of his career. From there, Rich Homie Quan started off by speaking about growing up in Atlanta as the oldest of 3 on his mom’s side and the oldest of 2 on his dad’s side. Rich Homie Quan added that his brother is his road manager, and he explained that he likes to keep his family around him. From there, Rich Homie Quan spoke about graduating high school with a 3.2 GPA and getting a scholarship to go to Fort Valley State University on a baseball scholarship. He explained that his mind was always focused on music, and Rich Homie Quan weighed his options on getting into the MLB, which led him to focus on music. Rich Homie Quan then revealed that he really got into music when his mom bought him a karaoke machine at 8, and he added that he started writing his own music a few years later.
