The final person convicted in the 2018 armed robbery of rapper Safaree Samuels in the parking lot of his luxury apartment complex in Fort Lee now heads to state prison after his sentencing on Thursday.

A jury in July found Shawn Harewood, a childhood friend of Samuels, guilty of robbery, eluding and resisting arrest. But he was found not guilty of robbing Samuels' companion, conspiracy to commit robbery and weapons charges.

Harewood was described by the prosecution as the mastermind of the armed robbery, which stripped Samuels of $180,000 in jewelry, noting that when Harewood got on the stand to testify, he lied to the jury about his involvement, saying he was intoxicated at the time. However, Brian Neary, attorney for Harewood, said the verdict refuted the state's theory of Harewood as the mastermind of the robbery.

For the first time publicly, Lil Baby has addressed the passing of his labelmate Takeoff. On Saturday (Nov. 5), the “Emotionally Scarred” rapper shared that he was still in shock after learning the 28-year-old artist had been fatally shot.

The quietest member of the hip-hop trio Migos was killed at a private party at 810 Billiards & Bowling on Tuesday (Nov. 1). Two other victims, one of whom has been identified as Quavo’s assistant, suffered non-life-threatening injuries. Takeoff’s groupmate, Quavo, also attended the party but did not suffer any physical injuries in the melee.

The police believe at least two people opened fire. At this time, though, authorities have yet to make any arrests or publicly identify any suspects.

Megan Thee Stallion’s house in Los Angeles was raided by thieves, who seemed to prey on her primary bedroom where they took $300k-$400k worth of jewelry, cash, and electronics.

Law enforcement sources said that two men, wearing hoodies and gloves smashed a glass door at the back of Meg’s pad on Thursday night, giving them access inside.Fortunately, Megan was not at home when the thieves broke in, so she is alright. They only took cash, jewelry and electronics.

Currently, the local police have not made any arrests, but the case is under investigation. We have been told that there’s home surveillance of the break-in, and detectives are working to obtain more video and evidence from neighbors that could help them catch those responsible.

Meg is not the first celebrity to deal with robbery, as a host of other celebrities like Post Malone, Rihanna, and Kim Kardashian have also experienced robbery and home invasions.

Recently, hip-hop suffered a tragic loss as Takeoff of Migos was shot and killed in downtown Houston. A nurse was reportedly on the scene of the incident and explained that she heard the gunfire because she lives nearby and came to the scene to help, but it was too late by the time she arrived.

The infusion nurse spoke to KHOU 11 while remaining anonymous and explained how she ended up on the scene. The nurse said she lived nearby, and she, along with the neighbors, heard gunshots. The nurse also pointed out that she heard a cry of agony, which she later learned came from Quavo as he was screaming for people to get help for his nephew, Takeoff.

The nurse told the outlet she grabbed her equipment from her trunk to help Takeoff, saying, “You can hear my voice in a video yelling 'I'm a nurse. No, no, no. I'm a nurse,' because I wanted to let them know. I was scared, but I had to go.” By the time the nurse arrived, she determined it was too late to save the artist. “His head was way up, and his eyes were rolled back and fixed. And I saw a pile of blood behind his head,” said the nurse.

Takeoff has reportedly been killed in a shooting in Houston, Texas.
According to TMZ, the Migos rapper (real name Kirshnik Khari Ball) was gunned down at 810 Billiards and Bowling in downtown Houston in the early hours of Tuesday (November 1). He was 28 years old.

Takeoff and Quavo were partaking in a dice game when an altercation broke out and shots were fired, striking Takeoff “either in the head or near to his head.” Despite initial rumors suggesting he was also shot, Quavo was not injured.

Houston Police announced on Twitter early Tuesday that officers responded to a shooting near 1200 Polk St. One victim was found dead upon arrival, although their identity has yet to be revealed.

Police later revealed that two other victims were transported to nearby hospitals. Officials confirmed that Takeoff and Quavo were both in attendance at the time of the shooting, per Click2Houston.

“Balenciaga has no longer any relationship nor any plans for future projects related to this artist,” Kering said in a statement.

Kanye even opened up Balenciaga’s summer fashion show at Paris Fashion Week earlier in October but any images or footage of Ye walking in the show has since been scrubbed from Balenciaga’s media platforms.

Kanye collaborated with Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia on the Yeezy Gap Engineered By Balenciaga line, which arrived in February and is most likely coming to an end at some point after Kanye terminated his 10-year deal with Gap in September.

“[They] priced my stuff at $200 and above their whole price point normally and then did the exact shirt for $20,” Ye told CNBC of why he wanted to end his deal with Gap. “Also, they did pop-ups and I signed on with them because in the contract they said they were gonna do stores and they just ignored us about building stores constantly.

“It was very frustrating, it was very disheartening because I just put everything I had [into it]… Everyone knows I’m the leader, I’m the king. So a king can’t live in someone else’s castle. A king has to make his own castle.”

As for his partnership with adidas, the sports apparel giant explained that it would put the partnership “under review” for the foreseeable future as it continues to investigate his conduct.

Mase addressed Diddy's Breakfast club interview. Diddy has claimed Ma$e owes him millions of dollars — not the other way around, as his former signee has repeatedly alleged.

During his visit to The Breakfast Club on Wednesday (October 5), the Bad Boy boss attempted to clear up the narrative that he stole money from artists who were signed to his label. Puff claimed he “never took nothing from nobody a day in my life” and expressed his disdain for thieves.


He then specifically addressed Ma$e, who he claimed owes him $3 million. He also called the Harlem World rapper a “fake pastor” and accused him of being a con artist, referencing rumors he stole money from his former church.

“I did one album with Ma$e! One album! How much money do you think I owe this guy?” he said. “One album, and then he became a fake pastor? And went and conned people? And then y’all gon’ let him throw dirt on the god’s name?

“Ma$e owes me $3 million. That’s facts, I got the receipt. Did the [second] album, never delivered. And I’m not going to go back and forth with Ma$e, I’m not going back and forth with nobody. I’ma speak up for myself now.”Mase responded to Diddy after the Hip Hop mogul dissed the former Bad Boy Records artist on The Breakfast Club.Mase addressed the comments in a post on Instagram. He claimed Diddy was mad because the rapper-turned-minister wouldn’t accept a fake apology.

“Yo, you see how people act when you won’t let them come on stage and give they fake apology so they can promote that little wack song,” Mase said.

He added in the post’s caption, “He just [angry] I did not want him to come on stage with me to give his fake apology. You’re high chill out! I’M GOOD LOVE.”

Diddy felt he was unfairly criticized for not paying artists enough. He challenged anyone, including Mase, to prove the record executive owes them money.
